🪐 Fiat Ducato Check Engine Light
Jun 30, 2017. #1. As I'm sure everyone knows, when you first turn on the ignition there are 5 circles at the top of the instrument panel which indicate oil level. Bearing in mind we have a new van, ours is usually on 1 or 2, occasionally 3 and once on 4. I understand it depends on how level the motorhome is and how long the engine has been stopped.
When this light is red, you will not be able to restart the engine once you have turned it off. If this happens while driving, take your car to get the tank filled immediately, otherwise you won’t be able to start the engine again. This is a feature designed to prevent drivers from going extended distances without any exhaust fluid.

Right so I went to see a Punto (2007, 1.4 active sport, 81k miles) (the guys a trader) and when we got there the car he said itd not be started in ages and the battery was completely flat and might need a new one, fair enough, it happens. Anyway he said he jumped it and it started but the check engine light came on (it also
The power Steering on all Mk2 and 2B Puntos is Electric (EPS) rather than hydraulic, and as such it is sensitive to voltage drops. A good basic starting point with EPS failures is to check the condition of the battery. Although you can get a rough guide of a batteries health with a multimeter, its best to have the battery properly tested.

Hello everyone, I bought a 2013 Ducato (2.3L 130 hp, 150,000 km) three weeks ago and quickly ran into engine trouble. First drive: 500 km (highways), a "check glowplugs" warning came on but otherwise it ran perfectly fine. Took it to the garage to get that fixed, it was a disconnected cable on
Ducato Engine Management Light - Power loss. Well the journey up through Spain and France was going fine until today, driving through Montlucon centre went the light came on and power reduced on our 3L Ducato, noticed the cruise control also deactivated. Progressed for about 15 miles with reduced power, climbs up hills requiring serious
Following morning "Check Engine" and orange engine light on. Drove to nearby mechanic (just north of the Spanish border) who plugged in diagnostic thingie (99euros!,) and gave estimate of 800 euros to fix.it. Contacted supplier and they told me without a fiat approved garage I wouldn't get that refunded and it might void the warranty!!
Normally most lights go off including warning triangle but occasionally this will stay on. Start Engine. Warning light remains on and can do for a few stop starts during longish journey before eventually going out. So issue seems to be with the start systems check, still perhaps related to Oil sensor signal.
Motorhomer. Posted on 30/11/2021 12:49 by Smithee. I have a 2017 Autotrail 15k miles, fitted with a 2.3 Ducato diesel engine. I get the "engine check" warning light coming on. The garage in my area has checked it out with their laptop and it shows lambda sensor problem. They have replaced the sensor twice with two new ones but the light still
drove to a shopping center, was away for maybe 40minutes, got back to the car and drove approximately 500meter and suddenly the abs lights went on so I stopped and turned the engine off and started it again, but now the check engine light are on, I have no speedometer no odometer (it doesent move) no cruise and the outer temperature meter goes

(Between the Fuel and temperature gauges). The nearest thing I can find is Brake Pad Wear but that warning is a solid amber circle with just 3 dashes on each side, not a complete
